Thrive: Summer Group Series at Ottawa Art Therapy

"Thrive" is a series of 90 minute group art therapy sessions. Each group will cater to specific needs, providing a safe and creative space for participants to explore, heal, grow, and THRIVE.

The registration form is included below, and an intake form will be sent to all registrants. Information regarding each group is also below. If you are interested in group sessions this summer, but none of the groups listed would be a good fit, please let us know!

Children

Target Age Group: 5-12 Neurodiverse (siblings and children who may benefit from the group, but do not have a diagnosis are welcome)

Themes: Self-expression, social connections through creativity, and building self-identity, self-advocacy, and self-esteem

TIME: Saturdays 1-2:30pm

DATES: July 13, 20, 27, August 3, 17, 24, 31 (*please note there is no group on August 10)

COST: $225 (or $50 drop in, based on availability)

Youth

Target Age Group: 12-18 years old

Themes: Self-expression, exploring value system, coping with anxiety/stress, building self-esteem, managing transitions (e.g., family dynamics, changing schools, relationships, etc)

TIME: Thursdays 7-8:30pm

DATES: July 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

COST: $250 (or $50 drop in, based on availability)

Adults (18+)

Themes: Identity exploration, managing stress, relationship dynamics, empowerment, personal growth.

TIME: Wednesdays 2:30-4pm

DATES: July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14, 21, 28

COST: $250 (or $50 drop in, based on availability)

Payment to be made within 24 hours of registration to secure a spot. Each session will provide a nurturing environment where participants can express themselves creatively, share their experiences, and support one another on their journey to thriving, facilitated by an Art Therapist/Psychotherapist.
